Lover Boy: Corps Member Stabbed In The Left Eye By “Community Girlfriend”

A corps member, Emmanuel Oyelara serving in Ohaozara LGA of the state was weekend, stabbed in his left eye by one of his girlfriends for allegedly having an affair with another lady within the area of his place of primary assignment.



Oyelara who is now lying in a critical condition at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, FETHA, because of the injuries he sustained might never see again as it was reported that before the unfortunate incident his right eye were already defective.

It was gathered that a fight broke-out when one Happiness and Maria, whom the “lover boy” Corps member was said to have been dating, eventually met in his house on the faithful day.

Investigation revealed that the fight was the fourth time the ladies were fighting in Corper Oyelara’s house over the “lover boy”.

It was learnt that Happiness who hailed from Umuchima in Uburu town of the LGA, having been hurt by the promiscuous attitude of Oyelara allegedly used a broken bottle and stabbed him on his left eye without considering the consequences of her action.

When Vanguard correspondent visited Corper Oyelara at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, he denied that the two ladies were his friends, insisting that they (the ladies) usually bring vegetables for him to buy until when both of them met in his house and engaged in fight.

According to him, when the fight started, he left to go and report the matter to their parents when Happiness caught up with him and stabbed him on his left eye.

Investigation however revealed that the two ladies are single mothers; one with 3 children and the other with 2 kids purportedly from different men.

Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sylvester Igbo confirmed that the two Uburu ladies had been arrested over the incident as investigation were on to unravel the remote causes that made Happiness stabbed the victim on his left eye having been aware that the corps member had difficulty in seeing with his right eye.

He added that investigation had proven that the victim was dating the two ladies, Happiness and Maria before the unfortunate incident occurred.

Love is Mere Addiction

Love’s a four-letter word I’m sure all of you are aware of. Maybe you haven’t felt the true meaning, but you must have heard it once in your life, and there definitely is no answer to the question “what is love?” My Webster dictionary says that love is an intense affection for another person based on personal feelings or family. Love is a relative term. It means different things to different people.
What I personally think is that if you love someone because of his eyes, lips or face, it’s not love — it’s lust. If it is because she cries every time you go away, it’s not love it’s pity. If she or he makes you forget to study and sleep, it’s not love it’s infatuation. Love is when you don't know why you seem to be attracted to a person. It has its own reasons.
If I love someone, I would be addicted to him, watching him smile, laughing with him loudly, always trying to be with him, talk to him, telling him everything and knowing and wanting to know more and more about him I would secretly see him with my eyes. I would look for irrelevant reasons to text him and wait for his reply even if I know he would not want to do that. I’d want to make him realize he is special for me, If I am down for some reason his few words would make me laugh and happier than those of other friends trying to cheer me up. I would go to mad when he tells me he has a crush on a classmate. His stupid joke would make me laugh more than the best comedy show. Even if he is lying I would buy all his lies because those words came out of his mouth.
However: if I love someone — for example a close friend of mine and he does not feel the same for me as I do for him — I would never ever have the courage to let him know about my feelings. That is because of the fear of losing the friend I have in him, losing him altogether. BREAKUP is a word I would never want to have in my love story; the worst part of losing love is to get back to life. When you lose love, you lose life. If a person ditches you in a relationship and you can’t yet hate him, you realize that the memories are worth the pain. You feel extremely ridiculous when they say, “when you lose something, you gain something.”

Wizkid to return to former music label, EME

If everything goes according to plan, Wizkid will soon be returning to his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.

"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source said

I hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid's international deals. When they start working together again, remember you read it here first! :-
